Job summary

Mission Edge in San Diego, CA seeks a senior-level nonprofit accounting professional to serve as a trusted adviser to mission-driven clients. You will lead complex fund accounting, guide grant reporting, and ensure financial clarity and compliance across multi-client engagements.

You’ll partner with executive directors and boards, asking strong questions, and using professional judgment to navigate ambiguous situations rather than following checklists.

Qualifications

• Experience in nonprofit accounting environments.
• Ability to manage multiple client engagements concurrently.
• Strong understanding of fund accounting and grant reporting requirements.
