MX Holdings, a global leader in non-ferrous metals, is seeking a Senior Non-Ferrous Metals Trader for our St. Louis, MO location.

The role focuses on buying and selling aluminum, copper, and related metals across domestic and international markets, with accountability for portfolio growth and profitability. You will build strong supplier and customer relationships, manage risk with limited supervision, and mentor junior trading staff while collaborating with the International Sales Manager and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Minimum 5 years in non-ferrous metals trading with international experience.
• Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and risk-management abilities.
• Excellent communication and independent decision-making skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Source, purchase, and sell non-ferrous metals across a variety of methods and markets; grow account volume and product flow.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and consumers; fully develop accounts to maximize products and services.
• Negotiate agreements balancing profitability and long-term partnerships; resolve disputes, rejects, and discrepancies.
• Develop expertise in aluminum, copper, and broader non-ferrous markets, including pricing and hedging.
• Monitor and analyze metal pricing daily; execute contracts and hedge transactions; use MEC systems.
