Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Noise Specialist to lead acoustical and vibration assessments across multiple projects, including environmental noise and architectural acoustics. You will plan, organize, and supervise staff, while serving as Project Manager on larger engagements as needed.

The role emphasizes technical mastery, client satisfaction, and collaboration within HDR’s employee-owned culture. Strong experience in GIS/GPS and ISO standards is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Acoustics, Math, Physics or related field required.
• 10+ years of acoustical analysis experience with track record in marketing, project management and client satisfaction.
• Leadership and team management abilities; familiar with local markets and clients.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and GIS/GPS tools.
• Commitment to HDR’s employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead acoustical and vibration assessments across diverse projects.
• Plan and supervise work of staff from mid to large teams.
• Serve as Project Manager on larger projects when needed.
• Focus on environmental noise, architectural acoustics, and vibration analyses.
• Use advanced instruments to measure and analyze noise data.
