Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Node & React, Headless API) for a Spain-based, remote-first role. You will own backend and frontend work, shape APIs and platform architecture, and drive major integrations.

You will lead hands-on development, collaborate with product and leadership, and help launch new capabilities while maintaining high availability and quality across the SaaS platform.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience in senior roles.
• Expertise in software design, cloud infrastructure, distributed systems.
• Hands-on with Node.js, React, Firebase, and API development.
• Strong understanding of headless, API-driven architectures and reliable systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration in distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Write production-quality code daily, leading by example and maintaining high standards.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant APIs and systems.
• Own critical areas of the technical landscape and evolve platform architecture.
• Lead development and launch of new product capabilities including integrations.
• Drive an Instagram Ads integration as part of the core product.
• Explore AI development platforms to expand product capabilities.
• Improve core platform while ensuring uptime and developer experience.
• Collaboration with leadership to translate strategy into execution.
• Make pragmatic engineering decisions balancing speed, quality, and debt.
• Investigate and resolve customer issues with the team.
• Contribute to testing, CI/CD, docs, and release processes.
• Provide architectural guidance in a senior team environment.
