Job summary

You will design scalable services using TypeScript and Node.js, develop RESTful APIs, and work on distributed systems supporting banking, payments and external integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Strong TypeScript and Node.js backend development experience.
• RESTful API design and cloud-native application development.
• Experience with scalable distributed systems and reliable production services.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the development of scalable, secure backend services.
• Design and implement APIs for banking, payments, and money movement workflows.
• Architect solutions balancing product needs with scalability and security.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to translate requirements.
• Improve reliability through monitoring, logging, and observability enhancements.
• Mentor teammates and reduce technical debt across projects.
