You’ll influence architecture decisions, drive RFCs, and work on multi-currency payment challenges within a fully remote setup. You’ll join a global team that values evidence-based design, strong documentation, and a rigorous security mindset.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience, autonomous development.
• Design scalable services with bounded contexts and minimal cross-service dependencies.
• Build reusable components with docs and migration paths.
• Diagnose issues across service boundaries.
• Write ADRs documenting decisions and trade-offs.
• Design for security: rate limits, idempotency, abuse prevention.
• Strong written English; collaborate asynchronously via RFCs/reviews.
• Collaborative style: present trade-offs and reasoned arguments.

Responsibilities

• Dig into existing multi-product architecture and propose changes.
• Contribute to evidence-based assessments of code and design quality.
• Write RFCs and ADRs for new systems and evolutions.
• Work on extend-vs-rebuild decisions with migration paths from day one.
• Handle constraints like multi-currency payments and PCI DSS scope.
• Collaborate with an experienced development team and grow skills.
• Engage in long-term collaboration on challenging products.
