Job summary

Jobgether SRL seeks a Sr. Software Engineer (Node) based in the United States.

You will own backend architecture and API design with Node.js, TypeScript, and Next.js API routes, delivering production-grade services with a focus on security, scalability, and reliability. You will mentor colleagues and establish coding standards while collaborating with frontend and mobile teams to define stable interfaces and API contracts.

Qualifications

• Strong backend experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and Next.js API routes.
• Experience designing production services and APIs.
• Experience with relational and document databases.
• Experience with cloud deployment and CI/CD.
• Healthcare or regulated industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead backend architecture and system design decisions for services and APIs.
• Design and implement complex backend features with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Develop Next.js API routes and Node.js services for authentication, caching, and data access.
• Create stable interfaces for frontend and mobile teams and ensure reliable integrations.
• Provide technical leadership through code reviews, mentoring, and coding standards.
