Job summary
Granite Telecommunications, LLC. is seeking an experienced NOC Technician to monitor and support our nationwide network infrastructure, ensuring uptime and top performance.
You will troubleshoot frontline issues, escalate incidents, and collaborate with engineering and support teams in a fast-paced setting to maintain reliability across VOIP and SD-WAN services. The ideal candidate has 6-8 years of telecom experience with strong VOIP/SIP, SD-WAN, and security knowledge, plus a proven ability to
Qualifications
- 6-8 years of experience in network operations, engineering, or telecom.
- Expert-level knowledge of VOIP/SIP architecture, SD-WAN platforms, and broadband technologies.
- Strong background in network security, including IDS/IPS, VPNs, and compliance standards.
- Proven experience with EPIK and DIA provisioning and troubleshooting at a carrier or enterprise level.
- Ability to lead technical teams and manage high-impact incidents.
- Completion of Level IV training bundle.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement monitoring solutions for VOIP, SD-WAN, and broadband services.
- Lead cross-functional projects to improve network reliability and scalability.
- Perform security audits and vulnerability assessments across NOC infrastructure.
- Interface with product and engineering teams to support new service rollouts.
- Develop training materials and lead technical workshops for junior staff.
- Analyze trends in network performance and recommend improvements.
