Placements24 is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer specialized in NLP to design, develop, and deploy scalable NLP models powering AI-driven products. You will work on text classification, sentiment analysis, translation, and chatbot systems while collaborating with product managers and data scientists.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in ML with NLP focus, strong Python and ML library skills, and hands-on experience with spaCy, NLTK, and Hugging Face Transformers.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree required (MS/PhD) in CS/AI/linguistics or related field.
• 4+ years of ML engineering experience with a focus on NLP.
• Strong Python programming and ML library experience.
• Hands-on NLP libraries experience (spaCy, NLTK, Hugging Face).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy scalable NLP models and pipelines.
• Fine-tune state-of-the-art NLP models (Transformers, BERT, GPT).
• Develop algorithms for text summarization, entity recognition, and QA.
• Collaborate with PMs and data scientists to define NLP requirements.
• Optimize ML models for performance and latency.
• Test and validate NLP systems, document architectures and training procedures.
• Stay current with NLP research and contribute to internal ML platforms.
• Mentor junior engineers and share best practices.
