• Ability to compare approaches and defend choices with evaluation and cost.

Responsibilities

• Design NLP enrichment pipelines to extract entities, classifications, claims, and summaries at scale.
• Evaluate NLP approaches vs LLM-based methods and justify tool selections.
• Own model evaluation and build golden sets in collaboration with SMEs and vendors.
• Write production-grade Python; manage concurrency and cost for high-volume workloads.
• Collaborate with data engineers to orchestrate workflows using Airflow/Dagster.
• Contribute to agentic AI work: tool use, multi-step reasoning, and safe trajectories.
• Work with editors, product managers, and engineers to translate needs into modeling work.
