Job summary

Triaem Llc seeks a Technical SETA SME – NLP to support mission-scale language systems, data pipelines, model evaluation, AI governance, and program planning from Arlington, VA. You will translate complex technical information into actionable recommendations for R&D stakeholders and help coordinate cross-disciplinary activities.

Required is an active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph, a strong background in NLP/AI (including LLMs), and 8+ years in relevant fields.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
Bachelor’s degree in physics, mathematics, computer science, or related field.
8+ years of work experience in listed science/technical fields.
Systems engineering and integration in data-intensive environments.
Knowledge of AI/ML including NLP, CV, predictive analytics, and LLMs.
Demonstrated NLP methods: text classification, NER, topic modeling, IE, or transformer architectures.
Experience building/evaluating NLP pipelines: preprocessing, tokenization, training, fine-tuning, optimization.
Understanding of data architectures/pipelines for large-scale analytics.
Familiarity with AI governance, data quality, bias mitigation, and mission assurance.
Experience creating program plans, WBS, and milestones.

Responsibilities

Provide technical SETA/SME support for the specialty area and evaluate approaches, risks, progress, and results.
Translate complex technical information into actionable recommendations for R&D stakeholders.
Support program planning, technical assessment, milestone tracking, and cross-disciplinary coordination.
Prepare to communicate technical work during evaluations, including a short technical seminar.
