Job summary

TRIAEM LLC is seeking a Technical SETA SME – AI Security in Bethesda, MD to guide AI security research and development for the Intelligence Community. The role involves evaluating AI threats, strengthening AI/ML systems, and ensuring secure AI architectures.

You will leverage expertise in AI governance, data quality, and mission assurance, working on secure data pipelines and governance frameworks, including NIST AI RMF and related policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physics, mathematics, computer science, cybersecurity, or related engineering field; Master’s may substitute for two years of experience.
• Eight or more years of STEM experience.
• Progressive cybersecurity experience with AI/ML security and data science security in federal or large enterprise.
• Expert-level knowledge of AI/ML security principles and AI threat vectors (model poisoning, adversarial attacks, model inversion, data integrity).
• Understanding of secure data architectures and pipelines for large-scale analytics.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and strategic guidance across AI security initiatives.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and identify vulnerabilities and adversarial threats.
• Support the transition of research into mission-relevant capabilities in the IC context.
• Develop and maintain program plans, WBS, and milestones for AI security projects.
