Job summary

Tessera seeks an experienced Fire Alarm System Mechanic III in Silverdale, WA. The role requires NICET III certification and BAT credentials, with duties spanning inspection, testing, maintenance, and repairs of water-based fire protection systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in fire alarm systems.
• NICET III certification required.
• BAT certification required.
• PL30 backflow plumber preferred.

Responsibilities

• Test and inspect building water-based fire protection systems.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on fire protection systems (Deluge, Dry, Wet, Foam, etc.).
• Repair or replace leaky joints, pipes, valves and related components.
• Operate and maintain fire pumps and related equipment.
• Read drawings and ensure compliance with NFPA/UFC codes.
