Predicta Biosciences is seeking an R&D Scientist to lead NGS assay development, including whole genome sequencing and single-cell RNA‑seq, for tumor and immune cell profiling in blood cancers. You will optimize library prep for low-input samples and oversee Illumina sequencing while collaborating with cross‑functional teams and documenting SOPs for regulated environments.

The role is based in Somerville, MA, with a competitive salary and a 10% bonus opportunity.

Qualificações

• PhD or equivalent industry experience in molecular biology/genomics.
• Minimum 5 years hands‑on lab experience in NGS assay development.
• Experience with library prep, sequencing platforms, and workflow optimization.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and optimize NGS assays for tumor cell and immune characterization.
• Lead development and optimization of NGS workflows including library prep for WGS and scRNA‑seq.
• Oversee sequencing on Illumina platforms, run planning and pooling.
• Establish QC metrics and validation practices across NGS workflows.
• Collaborate with R&D and computational biology teams to integrate wet-lab and analyses.
• Develop SOPs, protocols and technical reports for regulated environments.
