Qualifications

• PhD or 8+ years of experience in NGS assay development.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience developing Illumina NGS assays.
• Experience under ISO 13485, FDA design controls, or comparable quality system.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end performance of NGS assays running on Hamilton platforms.
• Analyze sequencing data to diagnose performance issues.
• Develop and troubleshoot assays running on liquid handling automation.

Skills

Hands-on experience with Illumina NGS assays

Experimental design including DOE and regression analysis

Troubleshooting complex assay failures

Experience with liquid handling automation

Proficiency in R, Python, or similar for data analysis

Education

PhD in molecular biology, genomics, bioengineering, or related field
