Job summary

Koch Minerals & Trading (KM&T) is seeking a Lead Originator and Physical Trader to accelerate growth in the NGL markets from Houston. You will lead origination, build asset portfolios, and monetize opportunities with a trading mindset.

The role reports to the Head of NGL Trading and requires strong deal-making, market knowledge, and relationships in the physical NGL markets. Hybrid in-office/remoteschedule arrangement is anticipated.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in energy or commodities trading/origination.
• Strong industry relationships in physical NGL markets.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience leading deal negotiations and contracting.

Responsibilities

• Origination & Business Development: identify and grow new customer opportunities; expand asset portfolio; lead deal terms and contract finalization with cross-functional teams.
• Physical Trading: monetize origination opportunities; manage and optimize physical NGL positions across storage and transport assets.
• Customer & Counterparty Relationships: develop and strengthen relationships with customers and counterparties; uncover mutual value.
• Market Assessment: develop deep understanding of physical NGL markets; identify trends and growth strategies.
