Bisnow is seeking a seasoned Editor to lead, report, and build our growing commercial real estate news operations. Based in the Central Time Zone with office or remote work options, you will oversee day-to-day coverage for major markets and manage a team of reporters and freelancers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience on an editorial team, including managing a team of reporters.
• Experience in daily news pace and volume.
• Ideally, experience in business-to-business reporting; CRE reporting a major plus.
• Clear, friendly, hyper-organized, goals-based management style.
• Demonstrated experience as a skilled, thorough storyteller.

Responsibilities

• Provide editorial planning and hands-on execution for day-to-day coverage of key markets (Houston, Dallas–Fort Worth and Chicago).
• Manage a team of full-time reporters and freelancers, including organization and professional growth.
• Assign articles and line edit online articles, newsletters and morning briefs.
