Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Solution Engineer in Networking to advance ground-breaking network technology for AI clusters. You will work across NVIDIA teams, root-causing issues from the source code and delivering robust fixes for high-speed interconnects.

The role demands deep C/Python expertise on Linux or embedded systems, strong networking knowledge, and superb communication skills to interact with customers and partners.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer, Electrical, or Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in C or Python programming in Linux or embedded systems.
• Experience developing software for Linux NIC drivers, switch ASICs/SDKs, embedded network device firmware, or similar.
• 3+ years directly supporting end-customers, partners, or integrators for network equipment.
• Strong system software (firmware, BIOS, kernel, driver, OS) expertise.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to stay calm in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Assist network and AI cluster support teams in reproducing and root-causing customer issues.
• Collaborate with R&D to develop bug fixes, workarounds, and solutions for critical customers.
• Become an authority in NVIDIA network technologies (Infiniband, NVLink, Spectrum-X).
• Analyze network performance metrics and provide tuning recommendations for high-performance networks.
• Develop tools for analysis and root-cause investigation of field issues.
• Regularly use AI tooling for software development, logs, traces, and debugging.
• Occasionally work on weekends/holidays to support customers.
