Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Networking Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. This senior IC role focuses on developing, executing, and automating complex BRAS and L2/L3 protocol tests while collaborating across product management and beta teams.

The ideal candidate will bring deep networking knowledge, strong scripting skills in Python, and hands-on experience with Ixia/Spirent. This hybrid role offers opportunities to drive quality and innovation across features.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in complex product testing with BRAS and L2/L3 protocol testing.
Exceptional understanding of the OSI Model, TCP/IP protocol suite and core networking fundamentals.
Strong automation skills with Python and Robot Framework, including GenAI-based implementations.
Experience with test tools such as Ixia and Spirent.

Responsibilities

Develop, execute, and automate highly complex feature test plans in BRAS areas, with deep understanding of the protocols listed in the Job Requirements.
Review MRDs, PDDs, and Functional Specifications for complex RLIs.
Collaborate with Technical Publications to review feature documentation.
Support Beta teams during feature adoption cycles and assist with troubleshooting Beta issues.
Partner with Product Management to identify deployment scenarios for new releases across customer environments.
