Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks a Networking Software Quality Assurance Engineer for its Westford, MA office. This hybrid role requires two days per week onsite and focuses on testing BRAS features and L2/L3 protocols with automation in Python and Robot Framework.

You will review MRDs/PDDs, work with Product & Publications, assist Beta cycles, and mentor other testers while driving test process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience testing complex products with BRAS and L2/L3 protocols.
• Strong understanding of OSI model and TCP/IP suite.
• Hands-on with PPP/PPPoE/DHCP/HTTP/RADIUS/AAA/L2TP.
• Automation experience using Python and Robot Framework including GenAI.
• Familiarity with Ixia/Spirent test tools.
• Ability to debug complex issues and write technical docs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and automate complex feature test plans in BRAS areas.
• Review MRDs and PDDs and refine functional specs.
• Collaborate with Publications to review feature docs.
• Support Beta cycles and troubleshoot issues.
• Mentor SysTest team members across tech areas.
• Deliver technical presentations on new features.
• Participate in continuous improvement of test processes.
