Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company in Sunnyvale is seeking an experienced Senior Customer Sustaining Manager to lead cross-functional engineering programs focused on networking, data center modernization, and product delivery. This role is hybrid, requiring you to work from an HPE office two days per week.

You will coordinate engineering, QA, product management, and operations, manage escalations, drive reviews, PoCs, and changes, and report status to executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, Eng, IT or related field.
• Strong networking, cloud infra, EVPN/VXLAN, and routing knowledge.
• Experience with SDLC, system integration testing, regression testing, release management.
• Experience managing complex programs across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Experience with enterprise or cloud infra customers.
• Strong risk management and executive communication; ability to influence cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technical program execution with scope, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, risks.
• Coordinate software development, validation, testing, release readiness, deployments.
• Support network and data center transformation initiatives (EVPN/VXLAN, cloud networking).
• Manage escalations, RCA, corrective actions, and customer-impacting issues.
• Align customer requirements with engineering priorities and product roadmaps.
• Drive architecture reviews, PoCs, change management, and continuous quality improvements.
• Communicate status, risks, and decisions to stakeholders and exec leadership.
