Job summary

ASCENDING is looking for a seasoned Senior Engineer for a critical networking and server infrastructure project in the Greater Cleveland Area. The ideal candidate will support a 4-month project with deep expertise in VMware, Hyper-V, and Cisco technologies, working remotely within the United States.

This role involves designing and optimizing multi-vendor environments, managing virtualization platforms, and ensuring robust network security best practices.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in networking and server engineering roles.
• Advanced expertise in VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and troubleshoot networking and server infrastructure.
• Manage and optimize virtualization platforms including VMware and Hyper-V.
• Install, configure, and support Cisco and Palo Alto devices.
