Job summary

Adhesives Research seeks a System Engineer – Networking Services to lead design, implementation, and lifecycle management of global network and infrastructure systems in Glen Rock, PA. You will craft secure, scalable architectures, ensure continuity, support compliance, and act as a technical escalation point across IT teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5–7 years of experience in network engineering, network architecture, or related roles.
• Deep understanding of Cisco network technologies and protocols: LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity practices, including network segmentation, encryption, and monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, 21 CFR Part 11.
• Experience with hybrid on-premises and Azure cloud services.
• Hands-on experience with SAN/NAS, firewall management, and Microsoft IIS.
• Proven experience with Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, Windows Server, Group Policy, Azure, Hyper-V, VDI, Microsoft Intune, endpoint management, and related tools.
• Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design, recommend, and implement global networking solutions aligned with business goals.
• Develop and maintain the global network architecture and long-term strategy.
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies to improve security, performance, and scalability.
• Collaborate with OT and manufacturing teams to secure and integrate production systems.
• Monitor, maintain, and optimize networking devices and services.
• Manage the full system lifecycle of all network infrastructure, including upgrades and patching.
• Maintain infrastructure services including firewalls, switches, routers, VPNs, SAN/NAS, and IIS.
• Enforce network security policies including segmentation and encryption.
• Participate in cybersecurity assessments, audits, and incident response activities.
