Job summary

Arcadia Talent Advisory is seeking a skilled networking professional to support secure enterprise networks. The candidate will operate Layer 2 / Layer 3 networks for satellite and ground systems, manage Cisco infrastructure, and administer Linux-based systems.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience in networking, in addition to expertise in Cisco platforms and scripting with Python. An active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain Security+ certification are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with enterprise networking, including L2/L3 routing and switching.
• Demonstrated expertise with Cisco platforms, including Nexus, ASA, and core routing/switching technologies.
• Solid Linux system administration experience, specifically with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Experience supporting VMware-based environments.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and optimize performance in production systems.
• Experience implementing and maintaining firewall solutions in secure or classified environments.
• Scripting or automation experience, preferably using Python.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain secure Layer 2 / Layer 3 enterprise networks supporting satellite and ground system data flows.
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco networking infrastructure, including routing, switching, and firewall platforms.
• Administer Linux-based systems (RHEL) supporting network services and operational tooling.
• Implement and manage firewall solutions, enforcing security controls within classified environments.
• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and perform root-cause analysis.
• Support virtualized environments leveraging VMware technologies.
• Develop and maintain basic automation or operational scripts, preferably using Python.
