Job summary

Allant Federal is seeking an experienced Senior Network and Computer Systems Administrator to provide on-site Tier II support, including design, installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise network systems. The role emphasizes security, reliability, and proactive monitoring to support mission-critical operations.

Responsibilities include configuring firewalls and routers, maintaining network documentation, and collaborating with Special Operations IT professionals

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance at start date and maintained throughout employment.
• 5+ years of Network/IT experience.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II compliant certification, or applicable DoD 8140 qualification.
• Cisco CCNA or equivalent with knowledge of IPsec and SSL VPNs.
• Experience with Palo Alto, Juniper JUNOS, VPNs, OSPF, BGP, IP routing, and LAN/WAN tech.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network systems on-site.
• Document, test, and perform problem isolation to maintain reliability.
• Monitor and optimize network performance for reliable connectivity.
• Review logs to ensure compliance with security standards.
• Plan and coordinate network initiatives and upgrades.
• Evaluate new network equipment and solutions to support operations.
• Collaborate with IT teams to resolve complex client/server issues.
