The ideal candidate has 5+ years of desktop, database, and network experience, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and DoD 8570 IA Level II compliance with an eligible Secret Clearance.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, or technology management.
• At least 1 current industry IT certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• 5+ years’ experience in desktop support, database management, and network management.
• Maintain DoD 8570 Information Assurance Training Level II and related certifications (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP).
• Shall have an eligible Secret Clearance.

Aufgaben

• Provide desktop support to organizational users for all IT equipment.
• Use government-provided software to ensure compatibility between OSes and domains.
• Analyze and rectify IM/IT issues and deploy software on site or remotely.
• Manage interoperability of applications and administration of operating systems software.
• Diagnose basic computer configuration and hardware problems.
• Build, patch, test, and deploy complex systems meeting client needs.
• Plan and implement infrastructure changes to enhance performance.
• Perform storage and server backups, data migration and disaster recovery.
• Perform software and OS upgrades and track licensing.
• Configure security settings or access permissions.
• Troubleshoot network or platform performance for users.
• Document procedures and troubleshooting steps.
• Lead configuration/maintenance of office and production software.
• Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and IT personnel from other divisions.
• Provide technical guidance to other engineers and administrators.
