Job summary

Flyover Attractions is seeking a System Administrator II - Network to own and evolve our LAN/WAN, firewall, VPN, and wireless across Chicago and Las Vegas locations. You will help standardize configurations, document the network, and ensure secure, reliable connectivity for guest-facing systems.

The role combines on-site work with a flexible hybrid schedule, offering opportunities to collaborate with the IT Director and site teams while addressing urgent incidents and capacity planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in network administration or engineering across multiple sites.
• Hands-on with enterprise switching and routing; VLANs, OSPF/BGP or static routing, QoS.
• Firewall administration (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA, or similar) and VPN configuration.
• Strong troubleshooting under time pressure and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN across multiple sites.
• Administer firewalls, VPNs, and security controls.
• Deploy and manage enterprise wireless networks.
• Monitor network health, set up alerts, and respond to incidents.
• Maintain network documentation, IP management, and change records.
• Collaborate with vendors/ISPs on circuits and capacity planning.
• Define standards and share knowledge as network SME.
• Handle Level 1 tasks on-site up to 4 hours/week; remote support by IT team.
• Other duties as assigned.
