Job summary

Flyover Attractions, Inc. is seeking a System Administrator II - Network to own our network and connectivity end to end across sites, including core switching, routing, wireless, firewalls, and VPN.

This IT team member will work in Chicago or Las Vegas with a hybrid schedule and minimal on-site time. The role emphasizes documenting the current network, closing security gaps, and standardizing configurations across sites, with on-site tasks up to four hours per week and broader remote support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in network administration or engineering, owning a multi-site network end to end.
• Experience with enterprise switching/routing, firewall/VPN, and wireless design/administration.
• Strong troubleshooting, time-management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN, switching, and routing across multiple sites.
• Administer firewalls, VPNs, and network security controls; ensure secure remote access.
• Deploy and manage enterprise wireless networks (controllers, APs, SSIDs, capacity).
• Monitor network health, set up alerts, respond to incidents and outages.
• Maintain network diagrams, IPAM, and change records; document standards.
• Coordinate with vendors/ISPs on circuits; manage capacity planning and refreshes.
• Serve as network SME; share knowledge and evaluate new technologies; onsite Level 1 tasks up to ~4 hours/week.
