Job summary

Rewards Network in Chicago is seeking a Manager, Network & Systems Engineering to lead a senior team and contribute hands-on to ensure day-to-day stability while modernizing infrastructure. The role collaborates with Security, SRE, DBAs, and product engineering, reporting to the Senior Manager, Infrastructure & Site Reliability Engineering.

This hybrid position requires in‑office presence three days a week (Tuesday–Thursday) in Chicago and focuses on advancing networking, servers, and cloud

Qualifications

• 5+ years in network engineering or infrastructure leadership.
• 2+ years in a lead or management role.
• Experience with enterprise networking (routing, switching, firewalls).
• Admin experience on Windows Server and Linux.
• Experience with AWS and cloud networking.
• Database migrations experience (MS SQL to PostgreSQL).

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a senior engineering team.
• Maintain and improve on‑prem networks and datacenter topology.
• Oversee Windows/Linux server health, patching & lifecycle.
• Drive modernization including datacenter consolidation and cloud expansion.
• Collaborate with AWS‑focused SRE and DBAs.
• Develop runbooks and incident response processes.
• Own disaster recovery planning and DR testing.
