Job summary

Northstar Executive Partners LLC is seeking a Senior Network & Server Administrator to own and optimize core IT infrastructure across multiple locations in the Tonawanda area. The role emphasizes reliability, security, and performance for a growing manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of network/server administration, strong Windows Server and AD skills, and multi-site experience. Hybrid work with 3 days in-office and 2 remote is offered.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in network and server administration.
• Hands-on expertise with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Experience with virtualization, enterprise networking, firewalls, and backup/recovery.
• Security-minded, solutions-oriented approach to infrastructure management.
• Manufacturing or multi-site enterprise experience is a plus.

We're partnering with an established, multi-site manufacturing organization to find a Senior Network & Server Administrator who can take ownership of critical infrastructure and help drive reliability, security, and performance across multiple locations.

What You’ll Do

• Administer and optimize Windows Server environments and Active Directory
• Manage enterprise networks, firewalls, switches, wireless infrastructure, and VPN connectivity
• Support virtualization, storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions
• Strengthen infrastructure security through monitoring, patching, and vulnerability management
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide reliable support across multiple sites
• Help improve infrastructure standards, documentation, and operational efficiency

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years of progressive experience in network and server administration
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and Group Policy
• Experience with virtualization, enterprise networking, firewalls, and backup/recovery
• A security‑minded, solutions‑oriented approach to infrastructure management
• The ability to work independently while partnering effectively with business and technical teams
• Manufacturing or multi-site enterprise experience is a plus!
