Job summary

Presidio, a leading IT solutions provider in the New York metro, seeks a Senior Solutions Architect focused on networking to lead customer engagements, gather requirements, and design end-to-end network and security solutions.

You will present proposals, create BoMs and SoWs, work with sales teams, and stay current with industry tech from Cisco, Arista, F5, Palo Alto, VMware. This role is based in the New York area with a strong client-facing emphasis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience or military background.
• 7+ years in enterprise networking and security solutions.
• Certifications such as CCDP, CCNP, CCIE or equivalents from other vendors.
• Demonstrated ability to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Experience with VAR/consulting or professional services is a plus.
• Proven ability to collaborate with customers and sales teams.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop high‑level end‑to‑end network and security solutions encompassing hardware, software, licensing, and services.
• Gather, analyze, and document customer business and technical requirements.
• Design full‑lifecycle network solutions from concept to implementation and support.
• Lead discovery sessions and whiteboard discussions with customers and stakeholders.
• Create customer-facing presentations, proposals, and solution documentation.
• Deliver architecture reviews and product demonstrations.
• Develop accurate hardware configurations and BoMs.
• Create SoWs and pricing using Presidio tools and processes.
• Prioritize workload and execute effectively within a team.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to develop relationships and opportunities.
• Maintain and expand technical expertise and industry certifications.
