Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Network Security Engineer to support SITEC 3 EOM at MacDill AFB, Florida. You will design, deploy, and maintain C2C and NAC architectures, enforce Zero Trust, and collaborate with SOC and network teams to protect DoD enterprise networks.

The role emphasizes advanced posture assessment, automated remediation, and end-to-end security across global operations, with experience in DoD environments and related certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum years as stated: 12 with HS, 10 with AS/AA, 8 with BS/BA, 6 with MS/MA, 3 with PhD
• A DoW TS/SCI clearance is required
• DOD 8570 IAT II Certification AND CCNA; AND
• Must be DoW 8140 compliant under Work Role Code 521– Cyber Defense Infrastructure Support Specialist - Intermediate level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, sustain, and optimize enterprise C2C architectures and NAC platforms to enforce dynamic device authentication across globally distributed networks.
• Design and maintain automated device discovery pipelines to achieve visibility of all IP-connected assets across segments.
• Develop and integrate bi-directional orchestration workflows between NAC platforms and endpoint tools to conduct real-time posture assessment and policy checks.
• Configure and manage automated remediation and quarantine policies to isolate non-compliant endpoints.
• Collaborate with SOC, systems admins, and security teams to align network access policies with DoW STIGs and EXORDs.
• Design, configure, and maintain underlying network infrastructure to support secure C2C enforcement points and 802.1X authentication.
• Develop and maintain C2C architecture diagrams, data flow maps, policy matrices, and SOPs for SOC and network personnel.
