Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Network Security Engineer to support SITEC-3 EOM at MacDill AFB, FL. You will design, deploy, and optimize C2C/NAC architectures to enforce Zero Trust access across a globally distributed environment.

You will lead automated device discovery, real-time posture checks, and remediation workflows, collaborating closely with SOC and IT teams to maintain secure, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• DoD DoW TS/SCI clearance required.
• DoD 8570 IAT II Certification and CCNA required.
• DoW 8140 compliance under Work Role Code 521 or higher.
• Experience with DoD enterprise networks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, sustain, and optimize C2C architectures and NAC platforms to enforce policy-driven device authentication across global networks.
• Design automated device discovery pipelines for 100% visibility of IP-connected assets including IoT/OT.
• Develop bi-directional workflows between NAC and endpoint tools for real-time posture assessment and policy checks.
• Configure automated remediation and quarantine policies without interrupting network operations.
• Collaborate with SOC and admins to align policies with DoW STIGs and EXORDs.
• Design and maintain underlying network infrastructure to support secure C2C enforcement and 802.1X.
• Create architecture diagrams, data flow maps, and SOPs for SOC and network personnel.
