Job summary

Wescom seeks a Sr Network Engineer to design, implement, and support complex networks, security, and telecommunications systems. You’ll work with IT Operations to deliver reliable, secure connectivity for members and staff.

The role requires 6–8 years in related fields, deep knowledge of routing, firewalls, and CCaaS concepts, and strong communication skills. Remote or hybrid work options are available, with on-site collaboration as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Networking or related field.
• Six to eight years of experience in network, security, telecom, or IT systems development.
• Strong knowledge of EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, SD-WAN, VPN, IDS/IPS, TACACS, RSA.
• Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, MCSE or security certifications preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to lead and mentor teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop networking, security and telecommunications systems for Wescom.
• Respond to production problems promptly and professionally.
• Analyze and configure systems to keep components current with changing technologies.
• Supervise deployment of network and telecommunications systems for information processing needs.
• Document configurations and changes for deployments and support.
