Job summary

InComm Payments is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer with strong Palo Alto firewall management experience to join our Network Security Engineering team. The role emphasizes independent contribution, coaching, and collaboration to protect our edge and data center environments.

You will travel to Atlanta-area data centers as needed and contribute to PCI-DSS, SOC, and HIPAA security compliance while driving secure solutions across the network.

Qualifications

• 8+ years IT experience.
• 4+ years Information Security experience.
• Experience designing, implementing, and managing secure network architecture.
• Experience managing, monitoring, and auditing firewall rules and systems.
• Ability to communicate security concepts to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Strong experience in Palo Alto Expedition and Panorama.
• Extensive knowledge of network routing, services, and security protocols: TCP/IP, SSL, TLS, SSH, IPSEC VPN, SSL VPN, VLAN, WLAN, VOIP, QOS
• Possess working knowledge of security solutions and technologies: Palo Alto Firewalls; IDPS; NAC/ISE; packet capture and monitoring; Anti-DDoS.
• Collaborate with leaders to align security requirements with business goals.
• Support on-call rotation and provide escalation for security incidents.
