Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Sr Security Engineer, Network for the Leo Security team to own network security across Leo's IT and OT environments, driving detection coverage from concept to production. You will model threats for network deployments, build assessment frameworks, and define security standards for enterprise-grade deployments.

You will partner with site operations and infrastructure teams to implement mitigations, drive incident response, and raise the security posture across ground

Qualifications

• 5+ years of scripting, programming, and security code review.
• 5+ years troubleshooting systems, logs, or automation tasks.
• Knowledge of HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP networking.
• Bachelor's in STEM or IT security experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and deploy detections to production networks using automation.
• Conduct threat modeling for network deployments across environments.
• Build and maintain a network security assessment framework for OT/SCADA.
• Translate risks into findings with severity, communicating to leadership.
• Develop network security standards, runbooks, and detection maps.
• Partner with infrastructure teams to implement mitigations and hardening.
• Contribute to incident response for network threats and post-incident improvements.
