The position requires hands-on security engineering, network monitoring, and incident response capabilities.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years in network design, security engineering, and experience with Cisco security products.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in design, configuration, and maintenance of large networked systems.
• 4+ years with network standards, protocols, and procedures.
• 4+ years in network architecture and topology, including routing and switching.
• 4+ years in network configuration management and performance monitoring.
• Certifications in network or system administration such as CCNA/CCNP/CCIE/CISSP/MCSE/MCSA.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze data traffic within the network to identify problems and improvements.
• Configure routers, switches, and firewalls per security standards and monitor perimeter security.
• Maintain knowledge of threats and advise on mitigation; perform forensic and packet analysis.
