Job summary

Crypto.com is seeking a Level 3 Network Infrastructure Engineer to own complex network issues across on-prem and AWS, with responsibilities spanning firewall optimization, core routing, and security architecture. You will collaborate with DevOps on IaC-driven deployments and apply AI/automation for operations.

The role emphasizes hybrid work setup in a fast-growing crypto platform, offering on-call support during critical network events and significant exposure to security technologies and cloud

Qualifications

• Relevant education in computer science, information systems, or related technical discipline.
• Hands-on experience operating and troubleshooting production networks across on-prem and AWS.
• Experience with firewall configuration, routing, switching, and incident response.
• Knowledge of BGP, OSPF, IPsec, QoS, and hybrid-cloud networking.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize incidents, and communicate during operational issues.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Level 3 escalation point for complex network issues across on-prem and AWS.
• Maintain and optimize FortiGate, Cisco ASA, and Akamai WAF security boundaries.
• Manage core networking gear including Arista, Cisco routers, F5 LTM/GTM, Infoblox.
• Develop and maintain architecture documentation for topology, hybrid cloud, and security.
• Bridge IaC between development and operations with DevOps teams to automate deployments.
• Research and apply automation/AI tools for security orchestration and network tasks.
• Provide non-office-hour escalation support during major live cutovers or emergencies.
