Job summary

i270 Solutions Group LLC is seeking a hands-on senior network engineer to support mission network infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments. You will design, build, and harden networks, stand up cloud VPCs, and secure Linux-based appliances to cyber standards while keeping operations resilient when it matters most.

The role spans cloud architecture, Linux systems engineering, and traditional network hardware, with work across Google Cloud, Azure, and AWS.

Qualifications

• 16+ years of professional network engineering experience.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider (GCP, Azure, or AWS) building VPCs with Linux VMs.
• Hands-on Linux hardening in cloud and physical environments.
• Experience configuring and hardening firewalls, switches, routers, and IPS.
• Experience with commercial VPN technologies.
• Experience with CMA apps and Android tablets.
• Ability to troubleshoot independently, after-hours on-call.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain VPC environments in cloud providers with Linux VMs.
• Harden Linux operating systems to cybersecurity standards in cloud and physical environments.
• Configure and harden network infrastructure (firewalls, switches, routers, IPS).
• Deploy and manage commercial VPN solutions.
• Support CMA apps and Android tablet devices in the field.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues after hours and on weekends as needed.
