LPL Financial is seeking an AVP Tech Network Engineer, Security to design, engineer, and operate advanced network security across on-prem and cloud environments. You will work with Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet firewalls and ISE/NAC to build scalable, resilient protections for advisors and clients.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong scripting, automation, and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues under pressure. Travel up to 10% may be required; US work authorization is required.

Competenze

• 5+ years of Network and Security Engineering experience with focus on Radware, Fortinet, Cisco, and Palo Alto.
• 2+ years in security technologies (DDoS, VPN, firewall orchestration, NAC).
• 2+ years of network security hardening and logging tools (SolarWinds, LiveNX, ELK).
• 2+ years of on-premise and cloud network defense.

Mansioni

• Design and engineer Palo Alto, Cisco FTD, and Fortinet firewall solutions.
• Develop automation using Python or PERL and APIs for data exchange.
• Engineer and operate VPN and Cisco ISE/NAC remote access environment.
• Implement firewall designs in AWS with auto-scaling.
• Troubleshoot complex network security issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Security hardening of platform devices and reduce vulnerability footprint.
• Manage firewall service requests and logging of firewall traffic/rules.
• Maintain security baselines, design docs, and diagrams.
• Open to travel up to 10% as needed.
