Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a senior Network Security Analyst to design, implement, and operate the network security posture across its health system. You will drive firewall governance, NAC, and segmentation while ensuring compliance within a complex medical center setting.

As a subject matter expert, you will apply advanced security concepts, collaborate with multiple teams, and maintain a high degree of autonomy in a dynamic academic medical environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive network security experience.
• Experience in healthcare or regulated environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of NIST CSF, NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-82 and Zero Trust Architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operationalize the network security posture of UCI Health.
• Lead perimeter security, firewall governance, NAC, data center segmentation, and network-layer compliance across the system.
• Serve as SME in network security with autonomy in a complex academic medical center environment.
