Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a senior Network Security Analyst to design and operationalize the system’s network security posture. You will be the subject matter expert for perimeter security, firewall governance, NAC, and data center segmentation across the health system.

With deep knowledge of NIST standards and healthcare IT requirements, you will guide secure designs in Epic EHR integrations and biomedical networks while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a complex academic medical center

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive network security experience, with at least 2 years in healthcare or a regulated environment.
• Knowledge of NIST Cybersecurity Framework and related standards (800-53, 800-82).
• Experience with enterprise firewalls (PAN-OS, Cisco FTD) and NAC/data center segmentation.
• Advanced understanding of security in healthcare environments, including Epic EHR integrations and biomedical network requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and oper emulate the network security posture for UCI Health.
• Lead firewall governance and access control strategies across multiple environments.
• Oversee network segmentation, NAC, and cloud network security in coordination with other IT teams.
