UCI Health is seeking a senior Network Security Analyst to lead the design, implementation, and operation of its network security posture across its health system. You will own perimeter security, firewall governance, NAC, and data center segmentation, guiding technical teams in a complex academic medical setting.

The role requires deep expertise in NIST CSF, 800-53, and HIPAA-aligned security practices, with hands-on experience in PAN-OS and Cisco Firepower.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Advanced knowledge of UCOP IS-3 and HIPAA Security Rule requirements applied to network infrastructure.
• 5+ years progressive network security experience, incl. healthcare or regulated environments.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, and operationalize the network security posture for UCI Health.
• Lead perimeter security, firewall governance, NAC, and data center segmentation.
• Ensure network security alignment with NIST CSF, SP 800-53, and Zero Trust principles.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and cloud teams on cloud network security and SDA/GRE concepts.
• Provide subject-matter expertise across diverse clinical and research environments.
