Qualifications

• 7+ years in network security engineering or architecture
• Architect-level experience with Palo Alto Networks technologies; multi-vendor breadth a plus
• Strong NGFW policy architecture, network segmentation, zero trust, and encrypted traffic inspection
• Experience designing security solutions for large, geographically distributed enterprises
• Healthcare IT experience or HIPAA security design exposure
• Strong documentation skills and ability to produce architecture diagrams and runbooks

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and standardization of multi-vendor network security solutions
• Define secure network architectures for data centers and cloud environments (Azure/GCP)
• Design network segmentation, zero trust, and least-privilege architectures
• Develop and maintain reference architectures, standards, roadmaps, and patterns
• Evaluate emerging network security technologies and provide adoption recommendations
• Define and govern security requirements for new facilities onboarding and infrastructure modernization
• Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering standards
• Present architecture proposals and risk findings to leadership
