Job summary

Our client seeks a senior Network Security Consultant to provide governance, architecture guidance, and hands-on oversight across Cisco-based on-prem and hybrid-cloud environments. The role focuses on security controls, design reviews, and regulatory alignment, with emphasis on zero-trust and disaster-recovery planning.

The consultant collaborates with architecture, infrastructure, cloud, and security teams, supporting Azure and VMware platforms while enabling secure remote access and firewall

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible IT experience.
• Eight years in network-security engineering, architecture or operations.
• Active certification such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CCIE/CCNP Security or CCSE.
• Hands-on Cisco firewall and VPN experience.
• Experience with Azure security and cloud governance.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen enterprise network-security controls and governance.
• Review solution and application designs for security alignment.
• Support infrastructure modernization and zero-trust implementation oversight.
• Provide incident response support and disaster-recovery planning.
• Attend Saskatchewan-time meetings; travel within Saskatchewan when required.
