The role focuses on Cisco routing/switching, BGP/OSPF, MPLS, SD-WAN, ISE/NAC, cloud networking, and IaC automation, with CCIE preferred and collaboration with cybersecurity and government stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS/EE/IT or related field.
10+ years of enterprise network architecture, design, and engineering.
CCIE certification strongly preferred/required.
Deep Cisco routing, switching, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, WAN, and data center knowledge.
5+ years SD-WAN and cloud networking experience.
Experience with IaC and network automation.
Onsite 12+ month contract in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

Architect, design, and deploy large-scale enterprise networks across data centers and WAN.
Lead modernization initiatives and governance for network architecture.
Configure and manage BGP/OSPF and MPLS routing.
Design SD-WAN and multi-cloud networking connectivity.
Deploy Cisco ISE and NAC frameworks and manage security.
Develop IaC pipelines and network automation scripts.
Coordinate with government stakeholders and ensure compliance.
Utilize Infoblox, ThousandEyes, and SolarWinds for monitoring.
