Job summary

The role collaborates with Operations and Engineering to handle connectivity issues and drive improvements across change and problem management. The successful candidate will have a strong networking background, multicast expertise, and experience with routing protocols, TCP/IP, and enterprise networking equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience or 10+ years in lieu of credentials.
• Solid knowledge of multicast troubleshooting in a switch/routed network.
• Experience with routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, MPLS).
• Experience with TCP/IP and Layer 2/3 switching.
• Weekend and off-hours support is required.

Responsibilities

• Proactive monitoring to avoid outages and limit impact.
• Troubleshooting and fault isolation to restore service when needed.
• Develop root cause flow charts and procedures to streamline fault isolation.
• Coordinate changes at the CAB and support Engineering.
• Execute requests for analysis or support and maintain network health.
• Drive process improvements for operational support.
