Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Network Management Platform to help scale our global edge fleet. You will work with infrastructure and operations teams and partner to deliver next-generation features that keep our network configuration fast and secure.

You will design and implement scalable deployment workflows, contribute to CI/CD, mentor engineers, and help shape the product direction across the fleet while maintaining high performance and

Qualifications

• 5+ years related experience in software development.
• 3 years building containerized apps with Docker and Kubernetes.
• 3 years automating public cloud workloads (GCP, AWS) with IaC like Terraform.
• Experience in DevOps practices.
• Experience writing resilient and maintainable Python or similar language.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver features to manage and deploy network configuration.
• Design infrastructure provisioning as the fleet grows in size and complexity.
• Develop and improve software development processes including testing and CI/CD.
• Write performant, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
• Mentor and support other engineers to foster knowledge sharing and collaboration.
