Job summary

Element U.S. Space & Defense in Camden, AR is seeking a Network Engineer III to design, implement, secure, and optimize our dispersed enterprise network. This senior role will drive architecture and standards across WAN, LAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, data centers, and cloud connectivity.

You will manage and secure hybrid networks, ensuring high availability, regulatory compliance (NIST 800-171, CMMC), and robust cyber defense across government and commercial customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, IS, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in enterprise network infrastructure.
• CCNA/CCNP or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize WAN/LAN/WLAN/SD-WAN and data center networks.
• Configure routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
• Ensure secure connectivity across data centers, branches, and cloud.
• Monitor performance and capacity; plan upgrades.
• Lead projects and mentor junior staff; participate in after-hours support.
