Job summary

GLOVIS America, Inc. is seeking a Senior Analyst in Irvine, CA to drive network planning and cost definition with robust analytics and cross-functional collaboration.

The role focuses on building CAPEX/OPEX models, performing revenue/cost/profitability analyses, and supporting pricing decisions. 3–7 years of financial analysis and logistics experience is preferred. Irvine-based role with exposure to SAP and dashboard reporting.

Qualifications

• Proficient verbal and written communication is required.
• Exceptional analytical and critical thinking with ability to identify risks and drive solutions.
• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Office and database knowledge is required.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic accounting concepts are expected; CPA/CIA/CISA or equivalent is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare revenue, cost, profitability, labor, and productivity analyses to support pricing decisions and operational efficiency.
• Build and maintain CAPEX/OPEX cost models and supporting assumptions with clear documentation.
• Maintain centralized cost baseline and input data for rate and capacity calculations.
• Gather, validate, and reconcile financial and operational data from multiple systems (e.g., SAP).
• Assist with capacity and network-flow evaluation across ports and facilities; model sensitivities for growth.
• Develop dashboards and reports to monitor monthly performance and inform leadership reviews.
• Prepare clear, decision-ready deliverables for internal sessions and executive updates.
• Support RFQ/RFP analysis with validated cost and capacity inputs for guidance.
• Contribute to feasibility studies for network expansion and site initiatives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to gather inputs and ensure traceability of analyses.
• Support automation of reporting with Power BI or similar tools.
• Maintain trackers for vendor contracts, rate escalations, and exceptions.
